Towne Center at Cedar Lodge is a large
planned unit development located in East Baton Rouge
parish at the corner of Corporate Boulevard and Jefferson
Highway. Ferris Engineering and Surveying has been involved
with the engineering design and surveying of the project
since its commencement in 2002. 48 acres of pasture
land has been converted to an open-air marketplace containing
an array of superb merchants from retail shops to restaurants.
This unique complex has a fresh approach to shopping.
Towne Center at Cedar Lodge received a Good Growth award
by the Baton Rouge Growth Coalition in 2006.
The Reserve at Cedar Lodge is located
in East Baton Rouge parish on the north side of Corporate
Boulevard. This condominium community combines Mediterranean-style
charm with modern amenities. There are 300 residential
units and a three story parking garage with additional
amenities such as resort pool and spa, indoor half basketball
court, fully equipped strength and conditioning center,
media center, gas barbecue grills, and billiards room.
This 12 acre development is situated just west of Towne
Center at Cedar Lodge.
The Bluffs is a master planned community
that combines an Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course
into an upscale residential neighborhood. The 778 acres
development is tucked amidst the rolling hills of St.
Francisville in West Feliciana parish. Ferris Engineering
and Surveying has worked on the residential developments
within this community since its conception. Residential
tracts within The Bluffs consist of several different
styles of living from townhomes to large estate lots.
Living communities within the development are continually
being designed and constructed, and there is much room
for future growth.
Citiplace is the first planned unit
development to be created in East Baton Rouge Parish.
The project began in 1994 with a blank slate of 67.3
acres. Situated on the south side of Corporate Boulevard
and bordered by Interstate 10, the site was a perfect
home for a mixed use development. The wide variety of
services available at this location became an immediate
success with residents of the area. Retail, restaurants,
hotels, office buildings, apartments, a bank, and a
cinema are all available at Citiplace. The stylish buildings
and entrances set this development apart from those
of the past and helped set the tone for future growth
of this type.
Pelican
Point Golf Community
Ferris Engineering and Surveying began
work on Pelican Point Golf Community in 1996. The 800-acre
farmland has been molded into a beautiful golf community,
which includes 2 18-hole golf courses and hundreds of
residential lots. We are continually involved with new
phases of residential development and continuing the
variety of homes in this large resort community.
The Country Club of Louisiana is an
exclusive and prestigious private development including
a Championship, Jack Nicklaus, 18-Hole Signature golf
course that expands over 228 acres of lush, contoured
landscape. The development is located in East Baton
Rouge Parish on Highland Road just south of Interstate
10. Ferris Engineering and Surveying has worked on many
of the residential developments within this community,
including Parcels 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17,
19, 20. Ferris’ engineering work on this project
began in 1985, and we remain involved with survey work
within this project to date.
Fountain Hill subdivision consists
of 141 beautiful residential lots in Ascension parish.
The development is situated on Bluff Road just east
of the Old Perkins intersection. Ferris Engineering
and Surveying became involved with the project during
the 2nd filing design process. Since that time, we have
watched this area transform into a prominent community
which has been a role model for other subdivisions in
the parish.
